My boys also love making forts!!! They are always finding a way to make them. But cleaning them up on the other hand is not an easy matter.

Does he jump off large piles of the cushions, too? That's a family fave around here.

My girls do that to Ellie's bed. It drives me crazy to walk in the room and see the mattress and all the blankets on the floor.

SO CUTE! Frustrating I'm sure, but what a memory you caught in that picture! It has been a while since I've read blogs and I loved ready about your Dad, memories, the black marker, and so much more. You are a great writer - you have so much voice. I cried in your post about your Dad. He was an amazing man! I love when you wrote about how your family cried and most of all laughed - it is the best mix of emotions and I'm sure your Dad wouldn't have it any other way!
