into thin air

random google photo

I thought I was going to die on my run this morning.

I'd breathe in, and feel like my lungs were only half-full. And then I'd gasp for more. But still come up about half a lung short.

It was fitting that the song Harder to Breathe, by Maroon 5 popped up on my Shuffle. Because it was totally true.

I do love coming to visit here.

But being so High on a Mountain Top, can sure take some getting used to.

when I was in Argentina and being so low in altitude or something, found that when I ran I was wicked fast and it was effortless. I even lapped my companion who was the one to drag me kicking and screaming out to the park for the run. and thinking finally I can run and not hate it. (I only wish I was like you and apes and found it remotely enjoyable) so when I got back home I thought I would continue the habit of running and also enjoy some much needed time in solitude having been joined at the hip with some one for the last year and half. I didn't even make it half a block before I wanted to die. but walks do, do it for me so it wasn't a complete waste of time. :) but go you! how do you get past your runners wall? I hit mine and crash, I guess I lack focus.
